Looking for the ultimate bachelorette party experience?  Bring your girls to the beach for OC Bridefest – A Fashion & Bridal Show in Ocean City Maryland.  This unique concept features a game show for brides filmed for submission to the Travel Channel.  Teams participate in a Fun & Exciting March Madness style contest to win a free Ocean City vacation package and the exclusive OC Bridefest champion ship belt.

OC Bridefest takes places the first weekend of May at multiple venues. The heart of OC Bridefest is the Ocean City Maryland Wedding Expo Saturday May 4th at the waterfront convention center.  Brides and their bachelorette parties can qualify for Sunday’s beach finals by winning one of the following contests.

LBD Night & Bridal Show Games 

OC Bridefest begins Friday may 3rd at the Residence Inn by Marriott on 61st St.  This gorgeoushotel overlooking the bay will transform its lobby to entertain bridal parties from across the mid Atlantic.  Enjoy Fun Music & cocktails overlooking a fabulous sunset on the bay.  Registration begins at 7 pm and the first contest starts at 7:45.

The first wedding show themed event is the Team Bouquet toss.  The bride tosses a micro bouquet to up to three of her bachelorettes.  If any girl in her bridal party catches it, they move on the next round. Teams use an extendable pink fishing net to make the catch.  The last team standing wins a spot in Sunday’s Finals at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Game Show for Brides

These fun contests will all be filmed so dress to impress!  After the Team Bridal Bouquet toss we’ll begin the Hula Hoop contest.  Each bride chooses a bridesmaid to represent their city.  Each contestant will have an empty plastic drink cup in their hands.  Whoever spins the longest advances to the next round.  The last girl standing wins. 

Games continue on Saturday at the Fashion & Wedding Expo.  Two qualifying spots will be awarded at Saturday May 4th’s  Cocktail Relay at the Convention Center.  Two more spots are up for grabs that evening at the Costume Ball.  The final round of Bridal Show games is the  Team Spirit Beach Party Sunday May 5th.  Win the Team Frisbee or Limbo to make the finals.

Beach Finals & Prizes

The final eight bridal parties get a chance to win the grand prize Sunday afternoon. The three challenges will be to roll giant inflatable dice across the beach (highest score wins),  beach cornhole and the Connect 4 Challenge.  OC Bridefest Referee Sean Rox will officiate the games to make sure all bridal parties play by the rules.

The grand prize is a Free Ocean City Maryland vacation package and the exclusive OC Bridefest  Belt ( a real $400  WWE Diva style belt!)  There will be additional prizes for the runner up.  Each team competing in the Bridal Show finals will be in this exciting video and the winning team gets to address the crowd while wearinf the belt.  Weekend passes are $100 and include sashes for two teammates.  Additional sashes are $25 each.  Single day passes to the Ocean City Maryland Wedding Expo & Bridal Show are available for $20 but do not include a Sash for the games.
